I’m Still Alive!

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Two days ago, my husband, brother and I (and Meow Meow!) went back to Sandakan from Kota Kinabalu. My husband drove a Toyota Land Cruiser (VX Limited). In the middle of the journey, my husband wanted to overtake a Perodua Kembara (it was raining at that time). But he saw a lorry was coming to our direction so he drove back to his lane. At this moment, the Kembara driver braked and my husband had no choice but to brake also. Due to the wet road, our car spinned and hit on the divider then spinned for two 360 degrees! Luckily, we didn’t land in the valley or drain. And unexpectedly, my brother was so brave that he didn’t cry or shocked. He even scold my husband for driving so fast. :p

So, thank God four of us are still alive.

These few months I was so busy managing my father’s new business – the bakery. In the mean time, I’m also writing a program to be used as a simple POS and accounting system for the bakery. The program can be used for simple tasks such as recording Cash Sales, Credit Sales and Stock Maintenance. I’m currently refactoring the codes to optimize the performance.

There’ll be less time (or even no Internet access) for me to blog or surf internet. So I’ll just update this blog once a while. Hm…I’m wondering if I should renew my account this year…

Visual Basic.NET Coding Standards

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

It’s recommended to write your codes systematically and follow the coding standards so that your codes are easier to read, maintain and modify. Proper indentation, declaring variables following the naming convention is always a good programming practice.
