If you heard someone laughing, that’s my sister.
Yesterday, my husband and I went to SPCA to adopt a kitten as an accompany to Meow Meow. The kitten’s care taker – Rose, gave me a 2-month old male kitten. It is very adorable and quiet. But, it hurt my finger and right arm because it’s not get used to hugging by human so it struggled after I hugged it for few minutes.
We paid RM 100 as the adoption fee for Tiger (my husband named it on the journey back home). The fee includes first vaccination, second deworm, and neuter operation. I was so happy that Meow Meow finally could have a companion at home without being bored.
However, things were not going as expected. Meow Meow didn’t like Tiger. He hissed at him. He even attacked my husband for petting Tiger. After few hours of "negotiation", my husband decided to send Tiger back to SPCA. I had no choice but to compromise.
Deep down inside, I don’t want to be parted with Tiger. He is so cute and gentle. Furthermore, I just gained a little of his trust.
Today, we sent Tiger back to SPCA for the reason that Meow Meow doesn’t accept Tiger. I cried on the journey home. I miss Tiger even we stayed together for one day only. I hope that Tiger’s new owner will treat him very nicely and love him with all his / her heart.

MM was infected by fungus on his face and ears last two weeks. Luckily I brought him to the nearest vet for vaccine and the doctor gave me a medicated shampoo (costs me RM 40!), and instructed me to give him a bath once a week. The possible cause of his infection might be the cat litter that he used. So now I bought him recycled paper type or fiber type cat litter which are more hygiene and will not cause mess around the house.
Now, his ears are almost recovered but still left some on his nose. Hope he’ll get well soon! I’ve uploaded some new photos and a video of MM. Enjoy!
Meow Meow. Yes, this is his name. My newly adopted kitten.

Past few weeks on a raining Saturday (18/8/2007)afternoon, my husband and I went out for lunch. At the time I stepped outside the door, I heard a kitten’s cries. Without paying more attention to, we went down the stairs and saw him. He was slim but with pretty fur. I asked him: “Where’s your mother?”. He answered me with his meow and he went towards my husband and started to rub his body along with my husband’s leg.
Without hesitating, I picked him up and started to search for his mother which my husband saw that morning. We gave up the search after few-ten minutes and left him. During the journey to take our lunch, I told my husband that I wanted to adopt him. But we’re not sure if we’re allowed to because we’re living at rented flats which pets are not allowed. After some discussions, I told my husband that if we see the kitten when we’re back, we’ll have it.
After the lunch, we rushed back and found some crows surrounding the kitten. He seemed terrified. We picked him up and here’s my kitty – meow meow. Well, why he doesn’t have a proper name? I’m not good at naming pets. So just gave him an easy to remember name. Haha.
