Thanks a lot… calling maxis really a nightmare to me, spent an hour with the Stu*id Customer service which are not well trained really makes me wanna die.

Thanks for your visit! Actually I’m not the one who came out with the solution, but I found similar solutions on the Internet then modified it to become solution for Nokia 5800. :p

Thanks Calvin for this solution!
I am using Nokia 6710 Navigator with SingTel (Singapore), but the APN Control (APN = Access Point Name) did prevented me from receiving and sending MMSs. After disabling, it works fine now!

Press the Menu key.

Go to Settings -> Settings -> Connection

Scroll to the lowest part of the menu and select APN control.

Open —->>>> Reading content from SIM card
Then it says the Connection Restrictions are active.

Select Options -> Deactivate restrictions.

It’ll now prompt for PIN2, key in “1234“.
Then it says the Connection Restrictions now are inactive.

Restart your phone.

Open up a champagne and surf the Internet / send MMS messages with your phone
>>> I didn’t have a bottle of champagne, so I got myself a bottle of Hoegaarden instead! hehe~~

I don’t know what phone model you’re holding so can’t help you much. My advice is to contact Nokia support.

that’s quite cheap. so the cost actually depends on the air fare at that time, is it? i tried to open the sabah govt jabatan haiwan website but i cant seem to find ‘borang import’ but i do find ‘borang export’ but cant click on it..

Thanks for visiting my blog.

It’s quite some time since I sent my cat back to Sabah. So if the information is not accurate, please forgive me. :p

1. Apply Export Permit + Health Certificate: around RM 30
2. Apply Import Permit: RM 11
3. Air ticket (MAS Cargo): around RM 200

So together might be around RM 250++. Budget more because there might some extra fees charged on you.
